26.07.08 Great numbers for the Benetton Basket Summer League, in termos of presence at La Ghirada Citt? dello Sport: 230 people who made the accreditation form, representing 87 clubs and agencies worldwide, added to the season tickets holders of Benetton Basket who had the chance to watch the games live for free.
The third day is the toughest one, since the teams have the last chance to get a good position in the standings before the finals which will take place on Sunday.
Contarini Spumanti is the first team to go to the game for the Benetton Basket Summer League champion title, winning three games in a row, the last one against Alibert 88-81 (Jermaine Watson 19 points scoring 7/12, Fomin and Milosevic 13; Hopkins 16 with 5/5 from the paint and 2/3 from the stretch). Contarini Spumanti will face the winner of the match between Gatorade and Sanson, at 8.30 pm on Sunday.
